We have an extensive menu including 20 Cereals, Breakfast Sandwiches, Hot Panini Sandwiches, Belgium Waffles, Stuffed Waffles, Waffelets, and much more!

We want you to have the breakfast that you want without fitting you into a specific meal. You can pick from our large number of sides and drinks to make your perfect combo meal, or choose from our sides to create your own breakfast platter.

Chris and Melinda, our owners, first started their journey of becoming restaurant owners with a Filipino-American Restaurant called MMM Lumpia located at 5310 South 56th Street, Suite 7, Lincoln, NE. When the restaurant first opened in June of 2023 they, along with their staff, cooked everything outside like a street vendor would in the Philippines, with hopes to renovate the kitchen to accommodate a new hood. Unfortunately the building was not upgradable to accommodate said improvements, and MMM Lumpia had to close their doors for regular dining.

With news that the building was not able to be upgraded Chris and Melinda put their heads together to think about what they could do in the space without needing a hood to operate a restaurant. From that brainstorming session, Breakfast Unhinged was born. They started with the concept of the Cereal Bar, and knew that in the Midwest they needed to serve more than just cereal, so they added in Paninis and Waffles. Our original location at 56th and Hwy 2 in Lincoln, had a dining room with only 12 seats to accommodate customer dining. When the concept of Breakfast Unhinged took off, they knew that we would need a larger space soon!

We are now located at 1601 Q Street | Suite A, Lincoln, NE 68508 (the northwest corner of 16th & Q) in busy downtown Lincoln; where we have almost tripled the size of our dining room. We have a private parking lot (that is shared with the rest of the tenants here at the Cornhusker Shoppes); and additional metered street parking along the perimeter of the lot.
